Our translation and rune tools rely on a dictionary lookup system built by a single, self-taught person (see Methodology and Reviewers) — not a team of academic linguists. That means mistakes can happen, and we want a real way for you to tell us when they do.
How to report an error
If you believe a translation, rune meaning, word history, or any other factual claim on this site is incorrect, please get in touch through our Contact Us page. When reporting an issue, it helps to include:
- The exact page URL or word/phrase you looked up.
- What you believe is incorrect, and, if you can, a source supporting the correction.
What happens next
- We review the report against our reference sources (see Sources & Corpora).
- If the correction is confirmed, we update the relevant page or dictionary entry.
- The fix is logged with a date on our Changelog, so you can see what’s changed and when.
We’re a small, independently run site, so we can’t promise a fixed response time, but we do read every report and take accuracy seriously — it’s the whole point of the project.
